Hormones influence your energy, sleep, mood, metabolism, libido, focus, recovery, and how you age.
At Juniper Health and Wellness, hormone optimization starts with understanding what is changing in your body and why. We look at your symptoms, labs, life stage, and overall health so we can build a plan that makes sense for you.
Whether you are dealing with fatigue, brain fog, weight changes, perimenopause, menopause, PCOS, low testosterone, low libido, poor sleep, or simply feeling “off,” we help you take a deeper look.

Symptoms like fatigue, brain fog, poor sleep, weight gain, mood changes, hot flashes, night sweats, low libido, and feeling unlike yourself are often dismissed as “just aging.”
At Juniper Health and Wellness, we do not stop there.
Hormones are part of a larger system. Your thyroid, vitamin levels, gut health, metabolism, stress, sleep, inflammation, and nutrition can all affect how your hormones function and how you feel.
Our goal is to help you understand what may be modifiable and what kind of support your body may need.

What hormone changes can affect
Hormone changes can show up differently for every person. Common concerns include:
If you have been told your labs are “normal” but you still do not feel like yourself, it may be time to look deeper.
For women, hormone changes may happen during perimenopause, menopause, post menopause, after childbirth, or with conditions like PCOS. These changes can affect sleep, mood, weight, libido, brain fog, cycles, recovery, and long-term health.
For men, hormone changes are often talked about as a testosterone or libido issue, but they can also affect energy, focus, strength, motivation, body composition, mood, and recovery.
Juniper Health and Wellness evaluates the full picture before making recommendations, including symptoms, lab work, lifestyle, thyroid function, metabolic health, sleep, stress, and long-term safety
Hormone therapy options, including pellet therapy
When hormone therapy is appropriate, Juniper Health and Wellness may discuss several options, including creams, gels, patches, oral options, injections, or hormone pellet therapy.
Pellets are small hormone implants placed under the skin during a brief in-office procedure. They are designed to release hormones gradually over time, which may be helpful for patients who prefer not to use daily pills, creams, gels, or patches.
Pellet therapy may be considered for symptoms such as fatigue, brain fog, low libido, poor sleep, mood changes, hot flashes, night sweats, poor recovery, or feeling unlike yourself.
Pellets are not right for everyone. We use your symptoms, labs, health history, goals, and risk factors to determine what option makes the most sense.

Whose body is this?
I’ve always had an athletic build and didn’t have to diet. Then, it was like I woke up and 20 pounds showed up out of nowhere. So frustrating. I went to a trainer, stayed longer on the treadmill and felt like I was going backwards. I went to Juniper and got the answers I needed. I was prescribed estrogen and progesterone and it set my body back on course. Such a difference!
Do you offer hormone pellet therapy?
Yes. Juniper Health and Wellness may offer hormone pellet therapy when appropriate. Pellets are designed to release hormones gradually over time and may be an option for patients who prefer not to use daily creams, gels, pills, or patches.
Do I need hormone therapy?
Not necessarily. A hormone consultation does not automatically mean hormone therapy. We start with symptoms, labs, health history, and goals, then determine what support may be appropriate.
Do you help women in perimenopause and menopause?
Yes. Juniper Health and Wellness helps women evaluate symptoms related to perimenopause, menopause, postmenopause, PCOS, and other hormone changes.
Do you offer hormone support for men?
Yes. Juniper Health and Wellness evaluates hormone health for men, including symptoms that may be related to low testosterone, such as low energy, poor focus, reduced strength, low libido, and poor recovery.
